THAT DRESS by Reggie Radney

That Dress

Some say it’s GOLD, some say it’s WHITE

Some say it’s BLACK and BLUE.

The color you want the dress to be

Is really up to you.

Look at all the things we can see

Beyond only the color.

That command our wonder of fashion style

That we share with one another.

What if BLUE is really WHITE?

What if BLACK is really GOLD?

What if color beyond the conform

Is what really breaks the mould?

Your mind can tell you whatever

You want to see

It’s freedom of THOUGHT and IMAGINATION

Just like it’s suppose to be

What if it’s all a playful flow

Of a fashion game?

Which after all may be better

Because COLOR is only a name.
